I was in a very tough situation of life with my mom and school, and the only time I ever found an escape was when I put the headset on and grabbed the controller to game with the homies. It wasn’t until I was 13 or 14 that my friend Alex, introduced me to game battles in Black ops 3, and from there I’ve been hooked and unable to stop.
Being a competitor, to me, means putting the work so you see first place finishes. Gaming is fun by itself, but you throw in competition and then a first place prize, you won’t find me anywhere else but, in the lab, working to ensure I get that first-place prize. There’s no other feeling like it in the world. It’s exhilarating.
Full Combo events are some of the best events. In-person it was almost like going to a party that had a video game tournament in the middle of it. Everyone’s laughing having a great time, some are sad cause they lost, and others are just happy to be there watching. Some of my best memories gaming are at Full Combo events with my best friend, and I couldn’t be more thankful and proud of these guys for creating such an amazing space for us gamers to thrive and survive in.
