Being a competitor is someone that strives to test themselves. You do not need to win to be a competitor, but only someone that is willing to be able to learn and put themselves in a difficult position. It is testing your own mental strength and comparing what you lack and benefitting from where you can now see where to grow.
The FGC means tough love. It is also a double-edged sword. If there wasn’t someone to bring out the worst in you, it may be difficult to bring out the best in you. It is all a test of mental strength in the end and is a way to see how to handle difficult situations. If you ask the right questions, you will be lead down a better path. Tekken has been the most welcoming community that I’ve been apart of however and I’m thankful for that.
I think the Full Combo events are ran well and take careful consideration of the brackets and matchmaking. I think that they have a great presentation and are aiming to only go up from here. FC has been very considerate and has understanding TOs that look to make a welcoming and smooth event.
